Draft Strategic Plan 2024- 2028
Our Strategic Plan 2024 -2028 (The Plan) provides an opportunity to reflect on our strengths and community aspirations, reassess strategic directions over the next 10 years or so, and develop actions and deliverables for the community of Robe over the next four years.
The Local Government Act 1999 (SA) requires a council to develop and adopt plans for the management of its area, collectively called Strategic Management Plans.
At a high level these plans:
- Identify Council’s objectives for the area over a period of at least four years informed by relevant State and National objectives;
- Identify principal activities and actions to be undertaken to achieve the objectives and measures of success (or otherwise);
- Identify demographic characteristics and anticipated changes in these over the period of the Plan;
- Address strategic planning issues with reference to the State’s Planning Strategy and set priorities for the implementation of planning policies.
