Facilities for Hire


The Robe Institute is located on Mundy Terrace, next to the Library and Visitor Information Centre and is available for public hire. The Hall is 250 square metres and outside lawned area is 500 square metres. The venue is suitable for functions such as weddings, markets and performances. If you would like to hire the Institute please submit a hire permit to and contact 8768 2003 to confirm availability

The District Council of Robe have a meeting room available for public hire for small meetings or workshops.
The meeting room at the Council office sits 8 people comfortably.
The hire fee is $12.50 per hour.

The Council Chambers sits 14 people comfortably with a table configuration.
Extra seating is available for theatre style seating.
A whiteboard, projector and tea/coffee facilities are also available.
The hire fee is $62.30 for a half day or $124.60 for a full day.

Council's reserves are also available for private use such as the foreshore lawns for a wedding.Exclusive use of the foreshore includes connection to water and power, cleaning of adjacent public toilets pre/post event and supply of extra bins for collection. The weekend hire fee is $623.00. Please submit your Application for Event Permit on Council Land documentation and contact 8768 2003 to confirm availability.
