Pursuant to the provisions of Section 122 (1)(a) of the Local Government Act 1999 and the Local Government (Financial Management) Regulations 2011, Council is required to develop and adopt a Long-Term Financial Plan for a period of at least  10 years.

The Long Term Financial Plan has been developed not only to satisfy this requirement, but to assist in determining the financial projections for the District Council of Robe from 2021-22 to 2030-31, based on information available at the time.

The Long Term Financial Plan is used to assist in financial decision making. Consideration is given to what services are to be provided, the level of those services, the rating impost, income from other sources, the level of funding required from borrowings and the ability to service those borrowings.
