Community Bus Service

Need a lift?

The Robe Community Bus service is provided by the RSL. Each trip a different driver is assigned, and details can be found in the Robe Community Newsletter each month or on the RSL Notice Board.

The bus runs every Thursday morning for local shopping, bank, post office, library etc. You will be picked up from 10 am and returned to your home between 11.30 - 12.30 pm.

The bus also runs trips to Mount Gambier, usually occurring on the last Friday of the month. Pick up is from 8.00 am and you will return to Robe at approximately 5.30 pm. The fare is by donation.

Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels in Robe is run by volunteers. The current co-ordinator is Shirley Stoner who prepares a roster each month for volunteers to deliver the meals. The roster can be found in the Robe Community Newsletter.

COTA SALet’s Talk Aged Care

There is an independent and cost-free service in Robe for anyone who would like to learn more about Government Aged Care Supports, including My Aged Care. Local Robe resident and COTA SA volunteer aged care navigator Cathy Brewin, can help you register to My Aged Care and provide other valuable guidance to make understanding the system easier for you. Call Cathy on 0402 145 317. Cathy can chat on the phone or if appropriate, meet up at a mutually convenient community location.
