Building Fire Safety Committee

The purpose of the  District Council of Robe Building Fire Safety Committee is the appropriate authority responsible for investigating whether commercial building owners are maintaining a proper level of building fire safety for the protection of all occupants of their buildings.

The building fire safety Committee members include;

Mr Milan Hodak, Building Surveyor, as a person who holds prescribed qualifications in Building Surveying, subject to the condition that he retains the prescribed qualifications for the duration of his appointment and continues to be employed by the Council.

Mr Chris Tully as a person with expertise in the area of building fire safety

Mr Colin Paton as an Authorised Officer under Part 3 Division 5 of Section 86 of Fire and Emergency Services Act 2005 who has been approved by the Chief Executive Officer of the relevant fire authority to participate as a member of the Committee.
